And luckily, we have Nouveau Riche University to turn to. Ever heard of the Nouveau Riche Scam? Well it isn’t true because it is a real school. Nouveau Riche Scam is somewhat a hearsay because this school offers the best courses in business administration, real estates and wholesaling. They have nothing but praises for the great school and talked about the big help it has given to them as students.

Just a Minute With: Paris Hilton on life and career

September 23, 2008

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Paris Hilton has come to epitomize the idea of "famous for being famous" but with a growing business to manage built around her life as a wealthy heiress and celebrity, she says her world is nonstop hard work — but also fun.

With a new film documentary, "Paris, Not France" about the business of being Paris, a reality TV show called "Paris Hilton’s My New BFF" in which she goes tongue-in-cheek in search of a new best friend, her own fashion line, and a new album coming soon, Hilton, 27, is likely to be even more in the limelight over the next few months.

Already one of the most photographed women in the world, Hilton sat down with Reuters to talk about the lines between privacy and trading on her fame, and how she sees her future.

Q: What’s the most annoying misconception people have about you?

A: "The one that ’she doesn’t work’. I am literally running a huge corporation. I have my clothing lines, my champagne, my watches, shoes and purses and dog clothes — every sort of product you can imagine. I am doing movies. I am doing my record right now, producing, starring in a TV show. So it is a 24 hour, seven day-a-week job. I work all the time, so I laugh when I hear people say that."

Q: Where do you draw the line between your privacy, letting the public see who you are, and the need to promote yourself.

A: "I am basically always on camera. From the moment I leave my house in the morning, the paparazzi are waiting there until I go to bed at night. So it is natural to be doing this TV show. I don’t even know the cameras are there. I still have my private life. When I go home I have my pets and my boyfriend."

Q: Los Angeles city officials have been discussing proposals to curb the paparazzi, and create a "personal safety zone" between celebrities and photographers. Is that something you support?

A: "Yes. It is okay for paparazzi to go to a press event or a red carpet but when it is every single day when you are going to the market or the tanning salon or to lunch with your family, it is a lot of pressure always having to be ‘on’. Sometimes there will be 50 or 100. They are like rats. All my cars are completely scratched up from their battery packs and cameras. They jump on your car and dent the windows."

Q; Do you actually enjoy being so famous?

A: "I don’t think about it really. Since I was born, it’s been like this. Sometimes when I go to random places and I’ll be in a baseball cap with sunglasses — still people recognize me. But I try to do normal things. I like doing things myself, like going to the market or shopping. Some celebrities become famous and they forget who they are or where they came from and hide out like some recluse. I’m not going to do that."

Q: Where do you see yourself in 20 years time?

A: "I’ll probably be a mom with a couple of kids. I’d love to have a big family. Running my business and not traveling so much. I’ll be in a lot of real estate businesses and hotels then. I’ll be running my business from home."

Q: What’s the first thing you think about when wake up in the morning?

A: "I always think about what I dreamed. I write down my dreams. I feel it is your subconscious talking to you. Then I think of my schedule which is going to be so hectic. And I feel so happy, lucky and blessed that I have this life and what I can do to be a better person every day."

Delray Credit Counseling

September 22, 2008

being on top of our finances is quite a tough job. Nowadays, everything is being brought. Nothing is really free so we need to spend for something that we need or we want. And in order for us to be able to pay for the things we want and need, we have to have cash or money. And money nowadays is hard to find. We must work for us to have it. We use it to buy the things we want and need, to provide food for the table and to pay for the staggering bills we have every month. Others take the shorter route to having a readily available cash when they are in need of it. The shorter and easier way I mean is borrowing from a friend or family member or going to the nearest pawnshop and pawning whatever valuables you have. But people nowadays to meet their very needs, they took personal loans. These loans come very handy and helpful to whoever needs it. It is easy to apply for it and if you meet the requirements, they give you the cash you need. But sometimes though, these loans are not paid on time and it makes you on debt. Being on debt sets you a record among other loan providers, thus making you a blacklisted member. Being a blacklisted member isn’t good because this keeps you from taking other loans. Good thing there is a company today that helps you for you to be on top of your finances. They are a non-profit company that provides services to those who need it. They give financial counseling and they give great advices for you to be on top of your financial need once again. debt consolidation loans are quite helpful and the company provides debt solution to every problem that arises. debt management is what they do.

`Paris, Not France’ reveals smarter side of Hilton

dfgd

TORONTO - Paris Hilton’s new reality show, the documentary "Paris, Not France," reveals a not-so-simple life in which the dumb blonde of her TV infamy is scarcely to be found.

Director Adria Petty gained rare access to Hilton and her inner circle, presenting a behind-the-scenes portrait of the privilege, preening and planning that went into creating the Hilton tabloid phenomenon.

From family videos of grade-school-aged Hilton playing with a bunny to brisk marketing meetings at which she and advisers discuss the "Paris" brand, the documentary offers a lively, sympathetic glimpse into the business of being a manufactured celebrity adored by many and despised by many more.

"I really wanted to make a film about her that was not negative but that wasn’t stupid, that really explored the voyeurism inherent in her creation as a new media star," said Petty, the 33-year-old daughter of rocker Tom Petty, in an interview at the Toronto International Film Festival on Wednesday, a day after "Paris, Not France" premiered.

"But at the same time, I didn’t in any way want to kind of hate on her or do anything that’s already been done. When you think about how much has been done about her and how many different vantage points she’s been shot from and how many different ways she’s been discussed, the only options left were to actually get a little bit more intellectual about it and think a little more about: Why do we watch?"

Petty met Hilton while working as a marketing consultant at Warner Bros. Records, which released Hilton’s 2006 pop album. For the film, Hilton agreed to let Petty tag along for a year, sitting in on business and promotional trips, sessions with reporters and photographers, even routine errands.

Hilton already had seen the film but attended the premiere Tuesday night, later having dinner with Petty.

"I think she was really proud of it. She likes the filmmaking and she likes seeing herself in this kind of new way I’ve shot her. She was stoked with it," Petty said.

The documentary features candid interviews with Hilton, her parents and sister, gossip columnists and cultural observers examining her celebrity and offering insights on the dumb-blonde facade that fronts it. Hilton notes that the airhead image was heavily due to the persona she copped on her reality show "The Simple Life," saying network executives wanted it to be a cross between "`Legally Blonde’ and `Green Acres.’ They wanted me to be really dumb."

"Paris, Not France" shows a much more self-possessed and well-spoken Hilton. While driving her car, Hilton delivers a long, anguished monologue, discussing her horror over the sex tape with a former boyfriend that found its way on to the Internet. She states that she did not remember filming it, then concludes with her characteristic humor: "I looked gross in that video."

Among the other nuggets revealed in "Paris, Not France":

• Hilton reads a gossip magazine, sharing a laugh about an item over Britney Spears’ supposed fears that Hilton might try to steal Kevin Federline away from her.

• A TV interviewer asks Hilton what superpower she would want. Hilton replies, "To fly and be invisible and to disappear."

• Hilton states that she loves to sleep as much as she can, continuing to snooze in bed in the morning while her hair and makeup are done.

• She reveals some of her scary dreams, including one where her teeth fall out and one where her brakes fail while she’s driving the steep hills of San Francisco.

• While strolling with her cell phone pressed to her ear, Hilton confesses to the camera, "I pretend to be on the phone all the time so people don’t talk to me."

Petty initially found it tough to draw Hilton out. Then she discovered that for Hilton, getting behind the wheel of her car was like entering a confessional.

"It took me a long time to figure it out, because I was like, I can’t get a good interview out of this chick. I don’t know what to do," Petty said. "Then in the car, it was like this magic moment where here was this articulate, feeling, thinking person who could convey what was on her mind.

"I was like, why is it that it’s only in the car? And then I realized, the most-photographed, famous woman in the world is shy. She doesn’t feel comfortable speaking in public, where everything she says she’s insulted for. So when we’re in a private space like her closet with the door closed or the car, she feels comfortable. She just became herself when she got some privacy."

Lindsay and Samantha rock the runway crowd

dfgd

NEW YORK – Nobody draws attention like Lindsay Lohan and gal pal Samantha Ronson.

The duo sat in the front row for the Saturday morning presentation of Ronson’s sister Charlotte’s spring collection at New York Fashion Week, where they were immediately swarmed by photographers who brushed past other famous folks like Sean Lennon to get shots of the actress and DJ.

Lohan sported a denim dress and blue pumps, and wore her blonde hair pulled back in a bun; Ronson had on a black T-shirt and a gray skinny jeans and vest — she usually incorporates a hat into her rocker look, but this time she opted to show off her pixie haircut.

They stood up for a standing ovation when Charlotte Ronson appeared on the runway after the show, and made a quick exit as media chased them backstage (where they hid in a VIP lounge).

Actress Emma Roberts, the niece of Julia Roberts, joked that she was stuck in a "Lindsay traffic jam" as she tried to leave the crowded event.

In-demand music producer Mark Ronson — brother of Charlotte and Samantha — deejayed the music at the show.

He declined comment when asked about the buzz over Lohan and his sister, but said he was proud of his family.

"I think we’re just all driven and love what we do," he said of his siblings.
